I really don't know whether the following input will help. But try it anyway :

Some of the Oracle Tools do not get started if your Windows display is set for 16 colours only!
Go to control panel and change the display to 256 colours or more , reboot and then only they will work!
Yes! Its true! But I really don't know whether your problem is due to this. Anyway sharing this won't hurt. Good Luck. If it works pls do drop a line to ramkumarg_at_hotmail.com
