fatal error on two-task server, error = 12571

Hello,
I get the following msg in alert log file quite often, error in file f:\orant\rdbms80\trace\ora000322.trc ora=12571: TNS: Packet write error.

and in ora000322.trc
'fatal error on two-task server, error = 12571' messages. How to solve this problem. Is this a serious one. I am running Oracle8 ver 8.0.5 on NT 4.0 Thanks.
