Winnie,
Does this provide more information than what is listed in
v$version? I can't test it in my current environment, as I am
running Oracle on an NT machine and "inspdver" does not exist
under NT on Oracle 8.1.5. Of course, to view v$version the
database needs to be up, but I am wondering if "inspdver"
provides something that v$version does not provide. Please let
me know if it does.
