  Hi,

I`ve installed Oracle8i on a Red Hat 6.2 and modified some = parameters of sem e shm and i need to rebuild the kernel. Avyone knows = how can i rebuild the kernel in a Red Hat 6.2?

http://howto.tucows.com/LDP/HOWTO/Kernel-HOWTO.html

if u're using LILO don't forget to create an new section in the = /etc/lilo.conf that would use the old kernel image, so that i could = still boot in case something goes wrong with the new kernel

good luck,

    Marin
