Hi Philippe,
=20
I tried to restart the X server but I got an error: resource busy, and =
did
not knew what else to do.
I finally restarted the whole server and everything worked out.
Any idea of what may have caused the X server to die?
thanks for replying!

HI,=20
Try just to restart the X server by a xinit=20 which is normaly in /usr/lpp/X11/bin and look for messages. reboot the server for an X server broken, is may be too huge. Regards PHD
