I'm looking at an HP-UX 10.20 server with Oracle 8.0.4 with a mix of MTS clients and dedicated server clients. Each dedicated server is taking 20M of ram, while each dispatcher has .6M and the stared servers are only 5M. I'm supporting 5 dedicated clients and over 200 MTS clients with 4 dispatchers and 10 shared servers, the shared pool is 100M. You do the math!! I need to know how much memory need in server machine to run an MTS connection. I'm not sure about what kind of memory and I need to increase memory to hold more than 1000 concurrent sessions. Thank you very much in advance. Regards. Miguel. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com -- Author: Miguel Urosa Ruiz INET: miguelurosa_ruiz@hotmail.com Fat City Network Services -- (858) 538-5051 FAX: (858) 538-5051 San Diego, California -- Public Internet access / Mailing Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: ListGuru@fatcity.com (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
