Sr. Oracle Systems Engineer Needed in Charlotte,NC

This is a well-respected regional client in Charlotte, North Carolina needs an Oracle Sr. Technical Systems Engineer. The person filling this position will work closely with application=  developers,=20
system administrators and support personnel.

• Description: The primary focus of this position is to work on a team that manages a large number of Oracle databases used within the Global Corporate and Investment Bank. Many of these databases support e-commerce.The team is responsible for all aspects of database management including: (backup and recovery, performance tuning, data modeling, physical database design, database architecture, capacity planning).Day-to-day activities include: (supporting production databases, guiding developers in their use of Oracle, tuning databases, building database tools and utilities, developing new releases of production databases).

Requirements:
The following skills are required: (Oracle administration,=20 basic UNIX administration, SQL, database hardware configuration design,=20 basic TCP/IP networking knowledge).
Desirable skills include: (Perl, Korn Shell, C, Java).

Excellent Communications skills and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency are also required.
