That can not be true. Any application talking to the database must be using either ODBC or Oracle
Client.There is no other way to connect to Oracle from an application. ODBC and client both use Net8 or SQL NET (depending on Oracle Version). You can set up your
server for MTS and then use (Server=SHARED) in ur tnsnames.ora file and I bet it should work.
Otherwise the success of Tuxedo is questionable.
