Hi All!
I try to install HP Openview on SunOS 5.7 running Oracle8.1.6.

It complains
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib/libclntsh.so.1.0 is not available.
To create it, run /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/bin/genclntsh

this creates
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib/libclntsh.so/libclntsh.so ->
libclntsh.so.8.0

Which does not help. I manually created a link
/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib/libclntsh.so/libclntsh.so ->
libclntsh.so.1.0

but it still complained

ERROR: Shared library /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib/libclntsh.so.1.0

         is not complete. If you are using Oracle8, make sure that the Oracle

         patch set 8.0.5.2.0 is installed. Otherwise, try to rebuild shared
         library.

I can't run patch 8.0.5.2.0 for Orcale 8i?! Any ideas? Received on Tue Jun 20 2000 - 17:48:48 CDT
