Murali,
I haven't used reports, but mav's are tables in 8.x
(not a view and a different snapshot base table the
way they were in O7) so I'm confused when you say it's
not visible as a view or table.
It will show up in dba_objects with an object_type of
"undefined", but the mav name does show in dba_tables.
