RE: Upgrade to 8.1.6

I suggest that you read ALERT info about 8.1.6 on the MetalLink first. There is an alert about db may crash after upgrading to 8.1.6 (depending on whether your 8.1.5 db has corrupted block (Note 96117.1). And there is also some info about "dbstart" script supplied with 8.1.6 does not work properly
(Note 98418.1).

I'm thinking of upgrading from 8.1.5 to 8.1.6 on Digital Unix ver 4.0d as suggested by Oracle support because of recurring ORA-7445 errors.

Any stories or suggestions?
