        Hi folks.



        I've installed Oracle8i on Linux and I have a problem. After connect
to svrmgrl with internal and to intend startup database I've got ORA 01012
like I'm not connected to the instance.



        I have no idea about how can I solve that problem, any sugestion
would be appreciate.
