When starting the listener you need an entry for LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the unix login shell. I don't know how to do this in NT. Probably, you can find out from the intermedia document available at technet.oracle.com The query select * from user_libraries; (run this query as ctxsys) should retur like DR$LIBX /lfs/db1/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/ctx/lib/libctxx8.so Y VALID Make sure the path for libctxx8.so is correct.
