Oracle Financial Application Question

A question to all the Financial Apps expert,

Our company's GL report is running "extremely" slow for one month per year, that is when we are attempting to run the report at the beginning of the fiscal year (which is APRIL in our case). This is happening for the last 3 years. It only ran very slow when we are running report against the APRIL data, but if at the same moment we are running report on another month, everything is running fine.

We are suspecting that Oracle is doing a lot of "work" at the background as it is the month of the beginning of the fiscal year. Or some link is missing that need to rebuild every year.

We checked the database, system side.. no performance issues I can see.

We are running 10.7 character on Dynix 4.4.2 (RDBMS 7.3.4).
