What is your imp command?
imp file=full_export.dmp fromuser=old_user to_user=new_user buffer=1024000
commit=y tables=table_name ????
Check the following:
What roles does the new schema owner have? If it has DBA role then the table
will go into the same tablespace as the 'fromuser'.
Does the new schema owner have quotas on the UNETDB tablespace?
What is the default tablespace for the new schema owner?
It also looks as though you ran the export with compress=y. Is there a large
enough contiguous chunk of free space to accommodate the table in the correct
tablespace. This is what the error message is complaining about in the message
you got for UNETDB.
I suspect the problem may lie in the first check, but if all else fails run:
imp file=full_export.dmp indexfile=new_schema.sql fromuser=old_schema
tables=table_name buffer=1024000
edit the new_schema.sql to remove the REM at the start of each of the create
table statement line and change the tablespace_name for the table to the correct
one. Amend the initial extent size as necessary if the table will not go into
the new tablespace in one extent.
Run this script as the new_schema owner. Re-issue the first imp command in this
note and append 'ignore=y' to it.
This should work.

I am trying to import a table from a full export.. importing into a diff'n schema than where the table originted from. using fromuser and touser.
the touser had his tablespace set to a diff'n tablespace than the fromuser.. yet it still seems to try and import into the original tspace
I'm getting the folowing error -
ORA-01658: unable to create INITIAL extent for segment in tablespace
UNETDB
Import terminated successfully with warnings.
