I believe you can. I think I ran into exactly the same thing with a twist. I had to upgrade, ran it, and found all these duplicates in system. Maybe they were there all along. Then I had to go through and pull all the dups, and because of synonyms and all, think I had to rerun it under sys, the newer one, again.

I never lost any data though, whew...
