We recently had to restore our production hot backup to a development = server. Each database datafile was restored to the desired directory, = however, a second directory was created to hold the tablespace. For = example the AP tablespace in d:\fprd\ap.dbs was to be restored to d:\fcpy. However, the the tablespace was actually = put in d:\fcpy\ap\ap.dbs. We had to move each datafile up one directory. = Any idea what went wrong.
