Hi:
i were using 7.3.3 in alpha(2100, with 512MB ram, two processors) with digital unix two years ago, and last year changed machine (a new alpha(4000, with 2GB ram, 3 processors) , more powerful) with oracle 8.0.4 and digital unix and a process (in Pro*c) with old machine take 4 minutes, and with new machine it took 40 minutes, i made all the tuning i knew, ask Oracle, but nothing worked.
Now the process takes 10 minutes, but i changed the process (i now use array insert and select) and 4 process
in parallel. But donīt know why is this degradation in performance Received on Mon May 22 2000 - 10:39:06 CDT
