By Steve Adams and published by O'Reilly. Another great treat is to visit Steve's website, www.ixora.com.au, where there are many insightful(deliciously so) articles and scripts on internals.

Jonathan Lewis and Steve Adams certainly keep me from getting bored with daily DBA activities.

You should read Oracle8i Internal Services by O'Reilly. Good book on some of the X$ tables used for waits, latches, locks and memory.

Hi All,

I am looking for documentation on the x$ tables like what we find in "Oracle7 Server : Reference".

Any book, web site, magazine, suggestion ?

Thank you in advance.

Khalid.
