Eric,
Even you don't have any backup, you can still use the steps that I
mentioned in the previous email. In fact, those steps are suggested for
people who don't have any backup but will need to bring the database up
asap.

Thanks for the reply. The bad news is that I don't
have any backup except I export the data after I made
the mistake(deleted the datafile). So I guess I have
to recreate the database. Next time I have to have at
least the cold backups. It's a bad experience for me.
