Since nobody asked me, here's my opinion anyway. I view this list as a = very valuable resource. But the volume of traffic is a bit overwhelming, = and there are many busy days I just delete everything, or maybe read just = one or two items that catch my eye. That's not a comment on the quality = of the list but about me and how much time I've got to devote to it. I = try to learn when I can, contribute when I can and don't fret the rest. = So the help wanted ads don't bother me at all, I'm not on the market and = it takes no time at all to delete them as long as they are clearly = labelled as such. Most are honestly titled, very few are weaselled into = the bottom of a post.

Here Here... they are driving me crazy.

Is there no way to stop the 'DBA wanted' mails on this list?   If I need a new position I can open the Yellow pages, pich a company at = random, and start tomorrow. I am trying to figure out a mail-filter to = delete mails like this as they come in.

  Met vriendelijke groeten,
  With regards,

  ERIC LANSU For www.SONERA.nl=20

  P.S. Of course Sonera is looking for Oracle - DBA's worldwide too, but I = won't post a 'wanted' mail here ( Eh, I didn't, did I? ;o) Received on Thu May 18 2000 - 08:12:16 CDT
