So if this was working before, what's changed on the
machine? ;)
I'm not familiar with BusinessObjects, but how does it
connect to the Oracle db (i.e. do you actually specify
a connect string?) How many Oracle homes are on this
NT box? It's possible that you can connect via
SQL*Plus because it's looking at the TNSNAMES.ORA in a
different location from the one BusinessObjects is
using.
If it doesn't use a connect string, or rather if
you're not prompted to enter one, then my gut feeling
is that a registry entry or environment variable has
been changed.
