Tommy,

    Two or more seperate CPU's & raw devices vs. a cooked file system. On HP
(what we run) I know you need their service guard product for cross CPU lock
management. Most likely there's a similar product from Sun.

What are the h/w, s/w requirements for running Oracle parallel server architecture.
We're currently running Sun h/w, Solaris 2.6.
