Nologging when creating Intermedia Index

Hi All,

I am posting this message again and hoping to get some responses/ideas from the list regarding this problem.

Regards,
Prasad

I am creating an Intermedia index and I would like to specify 'nologging' when creating intermedia index.

Since there is no direct way of specifying 'nologging' clause in the intermedia index syntax, I altered the tablespace with 'nologging' hoping that it would avoid logging. But, it is still logging when creating index. This is the only thing running on the system (test m/c).

Could you some one let me know how to avoid logging when creating intermedia index. I also checked BASIC_STORAGE in ctx_ddl package to see if I can set nologging but no use.

Thanks in advance and I appreciate all your suggestions. Received on Tue May 02 2000 - 11:17:27 CDT
