Recovery

Hello, everybody!

I have a 'little' problem with backup and recovery. I'm just testing our backup and recovery strategy, and I'm geting some errors when I try to make a complete recovery. Here is the framework:

BACKUP:
- database running in archivelog

• the backup script is like in the docs, with alter tablespace begin backup, host copy, alter end backup, then backup controlfile to...., and then archiving to tape, including archived logs

RECOVERY:
- I restore all the files from tape;

• startup nomount the database;
• set autorecovery on;
• recover database using backup controlfile;
• the Oracle server applies succesfully all the archived logs;
• alter database open -> here I get 'file sys01.ora needs media recovery'- it's the file that contains the system tablespace ...... :-(

Anybody , any ideas ?
