Attached are two simple Java examples that retrieve data from an Oracle8 DB. The list won't see the attachment but you should receive it directly. Examples taken from Oracle8 documentation and a Java 1.1 text. The applet example was run on Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.0; I don't think it'll run on IE 4.0.
