Hi,

The RECO process is used in distributed transactions. If you do not use distributed transations then set distributed_transactions = 0 in init.ora file and bounce the database, and the RECO process would not used.

Frequently our 734 database on NT4 hang and Ora_Reco_070361 appeared in one of the Database daemon (RECO?) when check username on v$session, normally it is blank. There are few hanging database users too. All attempt to logon will hang except internal which only can check few system views/tables.

No relevant info on TRC or alert log found. Any ideas ?

Wen
