Jo,

I haven't used SQL-Backtrack, but I think you would be wise to use third party  stuff only in conjunction w/ what Oracle Corp supports; i.e. hot/cold backups,  and exports. What, for example, does SQL-backtrack do for you in the event of  a disk failure?
