Hello Lewis,

A couple of things -

     Oracle Objects for OLE isn't supported against Oracle version 6, and
     also I believe isn't supported against VB4 (even if you were going
     against Oracle7).

     What are you trying to get the data into and why? As this obviously
     affects the way you can transfer the data.

Scott,

I saw your reply to the Oracle ListServ about VB and Oracle. If I go out and purchase VB 4.0, do I have to buy something additional from Oracle. I can not get a straight answer from Oracle people.

We use Oracle 6 (because the Navy says we Have to) and all i want to do is import the data ONE Way from that huge database into anything else for user manipulation. Oracle says this can not be done...but I see hints like yours which says it can be done...

So.....I'll buy whatever....it takes to keep from double entering the data.... If VB can do it without buying another frustrating Oracle product, I'll buy it ASAP....like today...
