Data Base Administrator - Oracle

Job Summary: Responsible for activities related to the administration of the Oracle databases. This includes: installation & configuration of the oracle software, monitoring performance, monitoring storage usage & fragmentation, managing database application including userids and shared data, database security, backup/recovery, and user assistance.

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years Oracle experience, with at least 1 year as a database administrator on a UNIX system. Experience with Oracle database, utilities, design, setup, support, and the UNIX operation system. Strong commun ication, interpersonal, project planning, problem solving and analytical skills required. Knowledge of WAN/LAN, SAS, and PC's preferred.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Unix System Administrator

Job Summary: Responsible for install and support of company's Unix systems, including SUNs, RS6000s & Pyramid Systems. This includes ordering and installing equipment/software, ongoing support of systems, security, and provide user assistance.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Unix experience and at least 1 year unix administration, preferably on SUN and /or IBM RS systems. Experience with hardware and software installation, backup/recovery, performance monitoring, problem solving. Strong communication, interpersonal, and planning skills essential. Previous support of an Oracle system is a plus.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000
