Hi

There is a Bulletin from Oracle Support Prob# 1003522.6 discussed     about SQL*NET for Desktop. The following part is for Windows 95:

   SQL*NET availability for Win95

   SQL*NET V1          SQL*Net v1.1.6.9 Avail

   SQL*NET V2

         SQL*NET v2.2.2.1.0 Avail
         TCP/IP Adapter v2.2.2.1.0 Avail
         SPX Adapter v2.2.2.1.0 Avail
         Named Pipes v2.2.2.1.0 Avail
         Adapter v2.2.2.1.0 Avail

  Please note:

The only supported TCP/IP stack is the Native Windows 95 stack.

This information may be old, but if you are using TCP/IP network,   the last sentence above may be of interest.

Best.
