Re: CDE Tools for Power MAC

I have the CDE tools 12/23/94 CD (FORMS 4.0.13.16.4, etc.) and have installed on a Power Mac 7200/90 running MacOS 7.5.2. Runs fine. Installed fine. I just did a straight install everything by doing a select all.

You are probably screwing the installer up by doing things one at a time. If you want FORMS, say, you can select the FORMS line and the installer will install all of the required support files - like gui-common. With this CD, on several PowerMacs, we've installed the software in various combinations from run-time to full version. Whenever we do this, we select only the product we want installed and let the installer figure out what else to throw on the disk - it does put alot on there.
