  We r facing a problem--

we hv oracle7 on SCO unix, due to crashing of the system, when the system

was brought up it asked for some clearence of unlinked files during

running of fsck--we gave yes to clear.

Then we tried bring up oracle but it could not find rollback segment

data files. Now how can i bring it up .

2)I hv heard of a slang DATABASE BOUNCING -- WHAT DOES IT MEAN.

3)can we define dump destination for trace files for different oracle logins
