Hi again,

While on the subject of exports, since our database was so large (5.5 gig), it couldn't fit onto one physical disk. I had to export it to a logical volume consisting of 2 physical disks. Is this ok? Oracle was not so sure. They said that if you can refer to the volume by a single name, than there's no problems. Is this true? My export "completed successfully without warnings", but haven't tried importing the thing back. So don't know if it's safe.

TIA,
Leng.
