SQL*NET V2 On VAX/VMS using DECNET

Hello All,

I am trying to get SQL*NET V2 running between two VAX's using DECNET under Oracle 7. The installation and Network Config went OK and I created my listener.ora, sqlnet.ora, tnsnames.ora and tnsnav.ora files ok. I even got the listener network process up and running. The problem is that I am unable to connect to it across decnec. I keep getting oracle error :

    ORA-12500 TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process

Anybody got any clues? I am attempting to keep this as simple as possible just talking across nodes to a database.

It looks like the listener is attempting to run [oracle.rdbms]orasrv.com and get a process started, but is failing.

Any help would be appreciated.
