I am using toad 9.0.1 Registered version,I have some issues like I written one procedure wen i tried to execute that procedure...i got feedback like procedure executed successfully,but i don't find any data in my target table.....most surprising thing is wen i ran same procedure through command prompt,it worked and my data got loaded in my target table


if any one have faced some type of problem,plz let me know the reason

Since you didn't provide any clue as of what your code looks like, anything is possible.
Also, everything you did describe points in that direction.

Did you connect to the same schema when verifying whether data got inserted or not?

So it seems that you'll have to use debugger (if your version supports it), or use DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE to display what the procedure is doing (consider use of the SQL%ROWCOUNT).

One more hint: does the procedure contain exception handling section? Did you, by any chance, use something like
EXCEPTION
  WHEN OTHERS THEN NULL;
If so, remove it and run the procedure again.
