hi,

I am getting error.......
tail: cannot open input

below code is running fine when I am hardcoding "tail -200 <path>" but when I am using variable its erroring out.

count=`wc -l <path> | cut -c1-8`
echo $count

if [ $count -gt 0 ]
then
tail -$count <path>
else
echo "Message File is empty"
fi;
