Hi,
I have two databases d1 and d2. I have one table t1.
I want to create materialized view on table t1 in d2 to database d1 and whenever there is a change in the table t1 in d2,. the change should reflect on materialize view in d1.
1) First i create Database link from d1 to d2 by the name of d2 (Successfull)

2) So for Materialized view REFRESH FAST ON COMMIT, i created materialize log on table t1 in d2. (Successfull)

3) and creating materialized in d1 as follows

CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW "schemaname"."T11" TABLESPACE "test1"
USING INDEX TABLESPACE "test"
REFRESH FAST ON demand
as
select * from t1@d2

giving following error

ORA-12504:cannot set the ON COMMIT refresh attribute for materialized view

Could not we create materialized view with Fast refresh ON COMMIT by using database link as Fast refresh on demand is created without any problem.

But we need to create Fast refresh ON COMMIT

Regards,
