".WORLD" throwing error (DBLinks) [message #307317]

Hi Experts,

We have form 6i and Oracle database 10g. Now we are trying to removing ".world" from all DBLinks. Now we are compiling any form, which is using Dblinks (without .world). Now what happened, when we are tring to compile the forms, it terminates our forms session.

Any Idea,

did you try commenting out the sqlnet.ora file with
#names.default_domain = world

What names do you have in your 'tnsnames.ora' file?
