have you compiled and run your form build file (.fmb) after you edit it
(when you compile the edited version be sure that the old .fmx one is not running)

good luck

You did? How come I don't see it?

What do you have in Form module's "Menu Module" property? Should be "DEFAULT&SMARTBAR".

P.S. Forgot to mention: I'm not sure whether you want to display the default toolbar (that's what I figured out from the question) or do you want to get rid of it (as the topic title suggests).

Is this your first form? Have you run the 'test' form that comes with the Forms Developer?

Open the form, at the form level, in the property sheet, remove 'default smartbar' from the 'toolbar' attribute.

To change the window name press F1 (Help) and look for 'set_window_property'. Also search this forum for 'mdi_window'. To change the colour, search the Forms Builder help for 'change color' (sorry but it is written in American).
