Hi all,

I have a job scheduled in Oracle 10 and it works correctly.

The same job nust be created also in Oracle 8 but if I try this, the job doesn't start at the scheduled time for first execution and also all future starts are skipped.

Are there any privileges or settings to be set to execute a job?

Do anyone know a solution?

Thanks to all will help!

Hi Michel.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I found that job_queue_processes has value 0 and job_queue_interval has a value of 60.

Having 0 in job_queue_processes means taht I can't run any job?
Have I to set this parameter to a value > 0?

(P.S. The job works if it is run manually...but if scheduled doesn't start)

Thanks one more time.

Correct.

Yes, with a value that how many concurrent jobs you want to execute at the same time.

Because you execute it with your own session and not with a background one.
