In other words: Michel will get to 5000 before Frank reaches 4000 only if Frank starts drowning.
(I'm quite sure that "starts drowning" isn't correct, but I hope you got the point. And, if it is not a problem for you native English speakers - how would this be correctly said?)

The correct English term is "only if Frank chokes".

I got no topic to post.Posts usually comes when I am in bed. So I stuck .
What about the statistics about number of posts per day by any user? In this case I guess Michel is leading. His one is 32 and over.
Can anyone tell who will be the higher poster?
Do you know any one who is higher poster and don't post now. (May be he is dead).
I am now 22. Guess too junior than you.If I am alive then ....
Hope I Will reach you soon.
Pray...........

The correct English sound-bite for choking is "gurk".
|
Since that is the dutch word for a pickle, I will stay with my original, until someone comes up with a better one
Do appreciate it, though!

Worth remembering if I'm ever being strangled in a back-street of Amsterdam! As life slowly slips from my body, my last thought will be "Where did all those pickle vendors come from?".

Yes, good one Ross, although I was thinking in different terms. I saw the "drowning" word as Frank "drowning" in work, not having time to make posts.
And as for Frank's "blub" word, I have seen this spelling used for references to noises of drowning, in addition to "glug."

Now, in advance I thank Michel for his contribution in Orafaq forum. Michel was worried when he was on 4999 and no one thanked him. Unfortunately I was not on my desk when he was in front of 5000 or of 6000. So prior to complete his 7000 message I specially thank him through this forum.
May creator keep you well, Michel.
Regards,
Arju.

I am going for a vacation and want to pass the Holy EID with my family for one week due to EID-ul-Azha. When I will come back I will/may see that Michel has completed 10,000 messages at Orafaq as being a first man.
So advance greetings to you Michel.
And EID Mubarak to all of you.
Regards,
Mohammad Abdul Momin Arju.

No, I did not notice the exact time.
It was when I was writting one of the puzzles I think. Neither the very first one nor the last one.
In addition, I answered a couple of other topics between the puzzles.
So it was somewhere between 21:12 and 21:57 UTC.
I think now only Frank can answer this.
Regards
Michel
