I am working on restoring a database through import and came across scripts to create type which were used to create tables, here is a type script

as object
(mmbrid_c ref u_usrreg_ty
,cat_n ref u_cathdr_ty
,subcat_n ref u_subcat_ty
,ownd_i char(1)
,plnd_i char(1)
static procedure p_usrcatinsert
(pownd_i char
,pplnd_i char
,sname_m varchar2
,tname_m varchar2
,tname1_m varchar2
,tname2_m varchar2
,tname3_m varchar2
,ref1val_x varchar2
,ref2val_n number
,ref3val_n number

then these scripts are used to create table like this

create table a of U_USRCAT_TY

I am unable to understand what does this "static procedure p_usrcatinsert" means in the type and what role will it play when the table is created with this type

Almost 100 posts and still don't know how to post.

In addition, TYPEs are described in PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference and Application Developer's Guide - Fundamentals.
