hi there,

i have upgraded my database from to I have this rman backup level 0 job to do the backup of the database.
In Rman's backup level 0 size used to be around 12GB.

But in version now this size is always around 6 GB.

Does anyone know why rman backup set size is smaller in version

AFAIK, there is no reason unless you empty some files or use compress option.
But maybe they fix a bug I don't know which led to a too big backup in initial version.
You can check patchset bugs list (in readme file).
