I want to load Oracle forms 6i along with Oracle database server 9i on a same standalone PC. I have already installed the database server and that is running fine. However when i try to install Oracle Forms, the installer is taking the default Oracle home as the Forms home too and then giving error message that Oracle_Home should be diff for the server and the Forms.
I understand that I will have to configure a new Home for the Forms. can you please suggest how to successfully do that.

Thanks in advance.

Oracle "home" is, actually, a directory into which you install an Oracle product. It is strongly adviced to install every Oracle product into its own home (i.e. directory).

For example, if you installed Oracle database 9i into C:\ORACLE9I, then install Oracle Forms 6i into C:\FORMS6I. It can be done at the beginning of the installation process.
