In my database i use
$sqlplus sys/sysadmin as sysdba

to connect as a sys user.

Please let me know how can i use only -sys- command instead of writing sqlplus sys/sysadmin as sysdba

Thanks in advance.

This is totally NOT Oracle related; this is a Unix-question.

One way to do it is to create an alias.

A better way is to not bother and type the whole command.

Why do you need to abbreviate it?
