Dear All,

I have a shared folder at windows machine say test
and now i want to access this shared folder at linux machine

What i did is

Start samba service and the service was started successfully.

logged as root user and then

mkdir -p /mnt/win

when i try to mount the windows shared folder by using the following command
mount -t smbfs -o username=administrator,password=pak // /mnt/win

an error encountered
mount: fs type -smbfs not supported by Kernel
i am using Redhat Enterprise Linux AS 4.5
why i am getting this error ,please suggest!
your prompt response will highly be appreciated.
