hi guys,

1) is it possible for me to pass a value in the out parameter in a pl/sql procedure to a java variable in an java application/servlet ?

2) when i issue a return in a pl/sql procedure, will i exit the procedure itself, or i will just return out of the block tat contain the return statement ?

3) if i put a return in a exception area, where will i return to ? out of the procedure or ?

for e.g
create procedure xxx ( a varchar2, b ... so on)
is
begin
if (...) then
begin
if
return ------------------ when will i return to?
...
else
...
end if;
exception
when no_data found then
...
RETURN
-------------- so when will i return to ?
when others then
RETURN --------------- so when will return to ?
end;
end if;
end;

thanks folk.
