Hi,

I have put values:

1. shared_pool_size to 800M in my init.ora but in the EM Console the displayed value is 768M

2.same for db_cache_size which is set to 1GB in init.ora but showing 960M in EM.

Also, I have
alter system set sga_target =0
, so that the values set in init.ora is displayed in EM.

Thank you

Are you sure you are using init.ora and not spfile?
Prove what you say, use SQL*Plus and post the queries and their result.

Query v$parameter and show the result for the relevant parameters.

Just type show parameters in sqlplus

SQLPLUS> show parameters
or
SQLPLUS> show parameter <parameter name>

gives same results.
