TOAD 8.6.1 has an option of showing windows by connection. It is useful when there are multiple connections and, choosing one of these, all windows that belong to other connections are minimized.

Its icon looks like this:

Does TOAD 9.1 have the same option? I'm unable to locate it in options, toolbar customizations or elsewhere.

TOAD 9.5 Release Notes document says that "'Connection list' dropdown button has been restored and can be added to the Toad toolbar.". If I understand it correctly, it says that previous version didn't have that dropdown button, but 9.5 does.

In another words ... 9.1 might not have it at all.

Does someone of you use 9.1 and has some extra info about that little button I'm interested in?

Thank you for a tip, Maarten!

Although that is not exactly what I'm looking for, it helps a little bit. The fact is that there are usually several active sessions and TOAD is full of open windows (I use at least one schema browser and one SQL editor (not to mention other browsers/editors!) per session, so - if there are 3 active sessions, 6 windows are open).

Button I'm talking about allows you to choose one of these sessions and automatically minimize all windows that belong to other sessions (so there would remain only 2 of them: one schema browser and one SQL editor).

Colours did help, but what if I chose to colour two sessions in red (both productions - be careful!) ... that's why your suggestion really helps. Thanks again!

Oh well, here it is ... one just have to be smart enough to find it. (No, I didn't manage to do that by myself - a colleague poke me into the eye with it). /forum/fa/1637/0/

Toolbar customization is the way to do that.

Now drag and drop the icon on any toolbar /forum/fa/2115/0/
